Video: Guide Dog Helps ‘Blind Owner’ Find Seat on Plane

A sweet moment between a guide dog and his owner is gaining attention after @the_blind_girlie shared a video of her Labrador, Churro, helping her find her seat on a plane. The video shows the paw parent, Beth, boarding with Churro by her side. He calmly follows instructions and guides his owner down the aisle, offering a great example of how dogs can really be our best companions.

Guide dog leads the way for ‘blind owner’ to her seat on plane in video

The video begins at the front of the aircraft, where a flight attendant greets Beth and her guide dog. Beth shares their seat numbers, and another crew member steps in to lead the way. The owner says, “If you can just show me where it is, he’ll just follow you.” She then gives Churro the cue to “follow.”

Churro falls right into place behind the attendant, walking at a steady pace while Beth encourages him with soft praise, calling him a “good boy” over and over, keeping him focused until they reach their row. When they arrive at the seats, she gives him one last “good boy” as the heartwarming video ends.

In the caption, Beth shares what Churro’s support means to her: “In a world that was not made for blind people this dog makes me feel like I can do anything and go anywhere.”

Navigating a busy airplane aisle can be a hassle for anyone, but guide dogs like this Labrador easily handle such busy and tight spaces. Hence, Churro moves with ease across the aisle. He stays close to his dog mom, follows the crew member’s directions, and keeps checking in with his handler — all small details that make a big difference during travel.

Viewers loved every second of the video. One person gushed, “Absolutely perfect. Please tell Churro I said hi with a forehead kiss,” while others cheered him on with messages like “What a good boy” and “Churro needs a churro for his amazing work!” And we agree, because the guide dog’s patience in the video says everything.
