The first day in a new home is always a big moment for any adopted pup, but for this dog, it wasn’t anxious at all, and it was special thanks to the warm welcome from her big sister. From playing together to sleeping side by side, the dogs showed an unspoken understanding from the first moment they met.

This adopted puppy’s first day at home with his mom, dad, and big sister was one to cherish. The heartwarming moments were captured in a short video and shared by @foxredpeggy, and the precious bond shown between the adopted dog and her big sister truly melted everyone’s hearts.
The video started with the dogs playing in the garden, with the big sister named Peggy holding a plushie in her mouth and Betty, the adopted pup, running behind her. They both look amused as they play in the garden, with Peggy sniffing Betty, as if trying to understand who this new member is, while Betty hops with joy, her tail wagging hard.
The video then shows the mom, dad, and the dogs traveling back to Cornwall. The video captures the fur babies sleeping together in the backseat of the car. As soon as the dogs enter the home, they don’t show even an ounce of tiredness and instead jump with joy. The big sister proudly carries different items from room to room. Meanwhile, Betty eagerly sniffs everything, curious about her new surroundings.
Betty had a wonderful first day at her new home. She also got lots of petting from her mom, along with belly rubs. She not only enjoys the petting sessions, but also Peggy’s toys, licking and playing with them. In a hilarious turn of events, the video shows her having even more fun chewing her dad’s socks.
