Video: Great Danes Spread Themselves on Couch & Barely Fit

You’d think dogs this size would need their own furniture, but these pups are convinced the couch belongs to them. In a video shared by @thegreatdane_sisters, Romina, Ramona, Renata, and their foster sister Monroe — all Great Danes — have somehow managed to sprawl across the entire L-shaped couch.

The vibe is like they own the place, and most would agree that they kind of do. Their mom walks in, filming, and can’t help but laugh at the sight. “What is wrong with you guys?” she says, half amused, half resigned. It’s a heap of paws and drool and total contentment — none of them even considering moving.

Naturally, the internet lost it, with over 41K people having already liked the video of the Great Danes. As soon as their mom starts talking, there’s some lazy movement — a stretch here, a sigh there — but no one’s rushing to make space. “I work so you guys can live this life,” she laughs, sounding equal parts proud and defeated.

When she gets closer and greets them with a soft, “Hey, hi, how are you?,” one of the sisters finally slides off the couch for a slow-motion stretch. “Big stretch,” mom narrates, like every dog parent ever. That sets off a gentle chain reaction: two more decide they’re ready to greet her too, while the fourth just blinks sleepily, probably pretending not to hear.

Soon, the crew heads out to the yard for their potty break. “Let’s go potty, pee pee bubba,” the dog mom says. She coos in that patient pet parent way — Renata listens, while Monroe decides another stretch sounds better. The camera catches wagging tails, floppy ears, and the kind of happy energy that defines a house full of giant cuddle bugs.

Viewers were obsessed. “How do four horses fit on one couch?,” one joked. While another wrote, “They were bred to hunt boar once upon a time — now they’re hunting DoorDash.” One other comment nailed it: “I think you need a second couch for yourself.”
