Video: Owner Proves Their Goldendoodle Is a ‘Master Manipulator’

Being a master manipulator comes with its perks, and Knox’s TikTok video proves that. TikTok user @that.dood.knox shared the video, showing she has the receipts to prove her Goldendoodle runs the show at home. The on-screen caption prepares viewers: “5 reasons why my goldendoodle is a master manipulator.” And just like that, she walks viewers through Knox’s best tactics.

Owner shares how their Goldendoodle manipulates them in video

The video shows the Goldendoodle opting for the best strategies to get his way with his owner. “This is Knox, a golden doodle who’s a master manipulator,” the video’s narration begins. The owner sets up the scene, saying, “These are his top five strategies for getting what he wants.” First up, Knox goes straight for the snacks. The owner narrates the context, “He will try to nudge the treat drawer wide open, and then he silently stares. I cave immediately.”

Knox is equally as dramatic about attention, not allowing his owner any privacy. The narrator admits, “I close the bathroom door for six seconds. Knox acts like I’ve abandoned him forever, and the dramatic whining works every single time.” One would think the Goldendoodle would let his owner work in peace, if nothing else. But work-from-home isn’t the best option either for the owner: “When I work from home, Knox positions himself between me and my computer, never missing out on a chance to be held.”

By 12 p.m., Knox is “all over” Zoom, ensuring everyone knows his presence. Like clockwork, dinner time hits. “At 5:31 his internal clock for dinner activates, looking sad until I feed him,” the paw parent reveals. The video signs off with a line many viewers resonated with: “We don’t have a dog. We have a furry CEO who runs our household.” In the comments, the creator summed up what most viewers think, confessing, “How could I ever say no to that cute face? And my goldendoodle knows it.”

The Goldendoodle’s video proves that his antics are less about manipulation and more about his charm. Safe to say, Knox runs the household, and his owner is happily on board.
