This pet owner documented their Goldendoodle dog’s knockout trick — and perhaps the only right way — to relax in a pool in an Instagram video.

There’s something so wholesome about watching our four-legged friends having the time of their lives while enjoying a swimming session in the summer. If it were up to them, they would never get out of the pool, and yet, they somehow run away and hide when it’s time for a shower. Let’s not forget, it’s also that time of the year when our dogs love to sleep more than usual, and you can never know when they might hit the snooze button.
In one such instance, a pet parent documented a video of their dog, a Goldendoodle, chilling in a pool to meet his relaxed summer goals. The Instagram post initially showed an underwater scene with dramatic background music straight out of a deadly shark movie. The fluffball seemingly hung onto a floating device while his paws dangled in the water. However, as the shot moved upwards, it showed what was actually going on.
The video then showed that the dog had drifted away into a peaceful nap while still relaxing in the pool on his floatie. In the clip, the Goldendoodle appeared fast asleep in his quirky shark glasses, which likely protected him from the heat. He had also been tightly clutching his shark plushie, refusing to separate from his favorite toy.
Commenters couldn’t hold back the fin-tastic jokes in the video, as one user wrote that the dog was the “fluffiest and laziest shark.” Another individual asked the pooch for lessons to relax like that, while a third claimed that they were “jealous” because he was clearly living the dream life.
