Free animals: is waiving adoption fees a good policy?
When I got my two kitties the Humane Society gave a discount on the second kitty. Both were fully vetted already and I paid $60 for BOTH. I don't love them less just because they were affordable.

Vick should never been allowed back in the NFL. What a travesty of justice and a piss poor example to future abusers. If the Eagles were the last team on earth, I wouldn't root for them (now or ever) As for that heartless, souless waste of good air being priveleged to get another dog, it simply states we need stricter and harsher rules to protect our 4 legged friends.

he's is and will always be a despicable, savage, psychopathic abomination of life. he deserves to be serving 20 yrs hard labor, mandatory under Sheriff Joe in Arizona. life is not fair and this is proof. he belongs in the gutter. instead, he's on top of the world. i pray if God exists he will bestow his unyielding wrath upon this miserable life excuse in the same manner as he did unto all the innocents.

I can't believe he was allowed to have another animal in his house. I don't care if it is a dog, cat or even a lizard, the man committed horrible unspeakable acts of violence for profit against so many poor defenseless dogs, He should have thought about how his actions would affect his children before getting involved in dog fighting. I hope he has seen the light, but I still don't believe he should be allowed to have a pet. Having a pet is a privilege one an abuser should not be allowed.

I say let his kids experience the joy of owning a pet. Maybe some good will come of it. Furthermore you all are stuck in the past. I know what he did was horrendous i read the articles, have done research and numerous school projects on animal abuse/puppy mills and my dream job is helping save animals. Very well said, I think he should never be able to own a dog again after what he did and some of those animals are still living with the trauma. Someone who has taken animal abuse to that extreme should be punished a lot more then he was

Vick is a barbaric, self-serving, self-absorbed monster - you don't reward evil, and that is precisely what the NFL has done - he should be barred from any contact with any animal for the remainder of his worthless life. I don't care what he feels he needs or wants - his desires are of no concern to me; he felt that it wasn't fair that his child could not have a pet - wouldn't you hate to call this demon Daddy??
