The DogTime Grants Program

We want to help you help animals

At DogTime, our mission is to keep dogs out of shelters and in good homes by equipping novice and experienced owners alike with all the information needed to make them, and their dogs, very happy.

To show commitment to the rescue effort, we have created several initiatives that give back to the animal community, including the following DogTime Grant Programs:

Old Man's Riverfront Rescue, AR
West Fork, Arkansas
Testimonial from Old Man's Riverfront Rescue

Old Man's Riverfront Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill rescue for senior dogs and disabled dogs located in Northwest Arkansas. Our mission is to rehabilitate and rehome dogs as well as provide sanctuary for our geriatrics to live out their lives in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. We thank DogTime for their donation to our organization! As many know, with senior dogs and disabled dogs the vet bills can become very extensive very quickly. This donation will help us with the costs of medical treatment and preventative care for these special dogs. We are very grateful and thankful for this generous donation!

SouthBARK Rescue, AL
SouthBARK Rescue, AL
Birmingham, Alabama
Testimonial from SouthBARK Rescue

SouthBARK is an all volunteer, all breed rescue group, based in Lower Alabama and Northeast Florida. We like to think of ourselves as a haven of last resort for the thousands of discarded animals in our area. SouthBARK volunteers will not take "no" for an answer, if it means saving the life of an animal that needs our help. We have worked with many other rescue groups and private adopters to get our fantastic, but unwanted, Southern dogs to as far away as Canada, California, Connecticut and beyond. We believe if there is a will, there is a way. We are so appreciative to DogTime for awarding us this grant. We are thrilled to use it toward our emergency vetting fund, where we will be able to continue saving injured shelter dogs that would otherwise be immediately euthanized. It is truly a gift of life and we are extremely grateful!

Green Mountain Pug Rescue
Green Mountain Pug Rescue
Lyndonville, Vermont
Testimonial from Green Mountain Pug Rescue

Green Mountain Pug Rescue is an all volunteer Pug rescue group based in Vermont that also covers the states of Maine, New Hampshire, and Northern New York. We also take in Pugs from as far away as Missouri (puppy mill survivors) and as far south as Georgia (shelter pulls and puppy mill survivors). We take them into our loving foster homes. Once they are in our care, we make sure they get all necessary shots, dental treatment, get them spayed/neutered, and they get a 4 way heartworm test. We also take care of any surgeries that are needed such as eye, patella, nares, soft palate, etc. We have some very special Pugs that are our hospice Pugs. These Pugs are unable to get healthy enough to be adopted so they remain with us till the end of their days. This grant will help us cover their medical needs as they arise. Many thanks to DogTime from all of us at GMPR! We can't thank you enough!

Tender Loving Care
Tender Loving Care
Homer Glen, Illinois
Testimonial from Tender Loving Care

Thank you, DogTime, for awarding your annual grant to Tender Loving Care Animal Shelter, a small private non-profit shelter in Homer Glen, Illinois. Our current website was developed and is maintained by volunteers, since the shelter cannot afford website services. We have been using the free Pet Adoption Portal for about 4 years, and it is a terrific tool for getting our animals the exposure they need to get adopted. Your grant will go toward redesigning our shelter website to make it more user friendly for shelter staff and for visitors.
