William and Kate adopt a dog

After much rumor and speculation, it’s confirmed: Prince William and Kate Middleton have adopted a male black Cocker Spaniel. The name of the puppy was not released.
According to reports, the couple adopted the pup last December. Rumors of dog ownership ensued after the couple was recently photographed with a dog while they were walking along Newborough Beach in North Wales.
The dog is hardly the first four-legged addition to the royal family. Queen Elizabeth owns several Pembroke Welsh Corgis, and Prince William and Camilla have a Jack Russell Terrier.
