Kelley Filson, CTC, CPDT is a Certified Dog Trainer with over 15 years of teaching experience and a degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Vermont.

Kelley believes that training should be effective, humane and fun. Dogs, like people, work best when expectations are reasonable, stresses are minimized and performances are rewarded. Kelley says that a talented trainer can motivate instead of intimidate and communicate instead of frustrate.

Kelley currently lives near San Francisco, California. She is an honors graduate of the SF/SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers & a Certified Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

Kelley Filson owns and runs AmiGO DOG TRAINING, LLC a private in-home training practice. Kelley also teaches classes & workshops @ DogEvolve a business started to meet the demand her clients had for short topical classes.

  • SELF-HEALING: Once when she had bad diarrhea she ate blackberry leaves from my garden. I freaked, but it turns out Blackberry leaves are a stomach-soother. How she knew this, eludes me.
  • She wouldn't stop circling/howling & she was old and unwanted -it intrigued me.
