I am a teacher with 4 pugs. We live on a lake and they love to swim and chase jet skis. My 3 month old pug was put in quarantine a month ago because we found a dead bat and he may have come in contact with it. I am going crazy without him and am very worried about his situation. The vet where he is says he is being socialized and played with but he is my baby! My other Pug babies are Pokey-18, Woodie-5,Daisy-2 and little Cesar 3 months. I am active with Pug Rescue and my dogs and Daughter are my life. My Daughter will be graduating from NCSU in December and is working an internship in San Francisco this summer for one of Oprah's top 5 charities. Looking forward to her coming home and the yearly beach trip with the dogs. I wish Cesar could be with us. Does anyone know if a young, light pup would show signs of Rabies quickly? He only weighed 7 lbs. If he does...I do too. Hope to meet lots of new friends here and hope to get some information as well! Love and licks!

07/17/09 08:00 PM	Help 3 month pug quarantine because he may or not come in contact with dead bat! Help I am so worried about him in jail. If he has Rabies...I do too! anyone ever had a quarantined dog before? Wouldn't a young,light unvaccinated pup show signs quickly? — Michele
07/17/09 07:40 PM	My 3 month old pug is in quarentine for 6 months because he may or not have come in contact with a untestable dead bat! I am going crazy! He only weighed 7 lbs when placed in quartine. Too young for his shot.He never left my sight! Help! — Michele
