Well eight months on and we have just come into season for the first time!! The day she was supposed to go to the vet to be desexed she came on heat, my fault I should have been more organised....Despite that potentially big glitch my girl isn't big for a border collie infact she is the daintiest thing about me and she is soooo pretty and soooo clever....She loves her walks and because she's not allowed out at present because of you know what....she's stir crazy however in the absense of going for daily walks she loves going for a ride in my car...she loves, loves,loves the car!!!

12/29/08 12:10 PM	Gypsy lost her last puppy tooth today....thankfully we don't have to bug the tooth fairy!!! We cellabrated Gypsy's first xmas which was mostly sent stripping the tree of as many ornaments as she could before she got caught.... — msporou
12/10/08 12:18 PM	Phew!! well true to her name Gypsy and I have been travelling abit, my girl loves her car and enjoys looking out the window as the worl rushes by, we have our new 1st kennel which is collapsable and therefore travels with her!!! — msporou

09/18/08 10:59 AM	Well Gypsy is almost 10 weeks old and she has doubled in size...I was worried that she might be skittish but she isn't she's very intelligent and has almost toilet trained herself to go outside....And both her father and I are completely besotted with her — msporou
09/08/08 06:53 PM	Yep I have forgotten how much work a little puppy can be....given that I'm not an early morning person the 6-7am rise for toileting is very hard....mind you once I see her playing in the grass and being very cute all is quickly forgiven, ah the joys!! — msporou

Best trick: I love the way Gypsy bullies people into scratching her tummy, it's not really a trick but it's certainly amusing!!!

Quirkiest habit: I love the way Gypsy will walk off and then she stops, looks over her shoulder to check that I'm not too far behind

Why I chose this dog: she chose me I just stalked her on the internet....but I'm a kiwi and she reminds me of home!!!! My hubby would not suit a lap dog and after raising 2 very ruff and tumble son's, I was determined to adopt a girl dog!

Is not a fan of: the expensive dog food I got duped into buying for her and the new vet Hugh, who shoved a thermometer up her @#%*

Also answers to: Little-girl, Cutie Pie and fluffy ball, much to hubby's disgust (he comes from a NZ sheep farming background) but I caught John the other day calling her Cutie!!! Ha!

And so I'm almost 6 months now and how I have changed...I am able to bounce around my house without mum watching me constantly, I'm no longer afraid of the dark....I'm going through that phase where I want to be in charge and dominante my mum and my dad...although I tend to lose...I'm much better at listening to my humans and I have learnt to obey mum when she calls...my brothers think I'm a spoilt witch....GOOD! And Mum thinks I'm just the pretiest and most clever puppy in the world!!!
