Best trick: If you lay treat on his paw while he's laying down and tell him to "wait" he won't touch it until you give him permission to do so--he learned that at about 6 months old--amazing because my kids don't wait for their treats :-) !!

Quirkiest habit: Always having to go around in a circle twice before laying down.

Why I chose this dog: The rottie breed personality is similar to that of my own, he is a loyal protector and friendly if his instincts tell him that something or someone's ok, but if not-- he's on the defense and that's just like me :-)

Is not a fan of: Being sprayed with doggie cologne after a bath!
