I've had dogs on and off all my life, but after adopting Lottie, I would never have any other dog but a greyhound. I would love 1 or 2 more. Greyhound owners are like that. Besides, these dogs deserve a loving "forever home" after what they have gone through on the track and what they endure at the kennels while they are racing. It's a wonder that they DO make such docile, easygoing and loving pets. They are also extremely sweet dogs, are very intelligent and learn fast. For instance, when we took Lottie to the vet the first time, everyone instantly fell in love with her, and now they all know her by name, and are extremely happy to see her each time we take her in. In turn, she doesn't mind going there at all because to her she is going to see all her human friends.
