Welcome carol!

I am a retired teacher, mother of four grown sons, and grandmother to two granddaughters and one grand son. I have always loved dogs and have owned several. I have two cats who are 18 and 15 years old. I was advised by people at the rescue center, pet stores, and others that if I was to get a dog I needed to get a puppy so there would be no trouble between the cats and dog. Well, I got the puppy and they were wrong. Mitchell barks when ever he sees the cats and the cats enjoy teasng him. Between 6 and 8:30 at night it is a circus at my house. I sure hope he finally learns they are here to stay.
