i have three dogs. one is griffey,bailey is a 3 year old black lab and jordan a 13 year old airdale/rot mix. they all stay in the house were i take care of them. i'm a housewife knee replacement 2 years ago. trying to get back out a walk my dogs again. they love to be in the back yard a chase the birds out.
bailey was a rescue dog. she had puppies at the age of one,and someone decided they didnt want her so they kept the puppies and got rid of her. kicked her to the curb. she was on her own. animal control of virginia picked her up and then the rescue people like paul and lynn got her. she was then spaid and given her shots. she went to another family first but she got into the garbage the first week and they took her back the rescue place. almost six months went by and no wanted her. then we came along and we took her home that day. yes we had problems with her,like seperation. when we would leave she would shred everything in sight. she finally learned that we was never going to give her away. she was like a diamond in the ruff. boy who ever got rid of her lost a great dog. she should have been a drug sniffing dog(has a great nose on her). she loves to snuggle and talks back like a typical three year old. she is like a mother hen to me.need to see where we are all the time.
griffey needed a home his other owner wanted to get rid of him he was getting out of control. so i went and picked him up and brought him home.well when we left the house he would eat the furniture and all the plants. he finally grew out of the bad habits and now is a couch potato,but dont let that fool you. he can still run and chase things, still very active. hes getting arthritis in his left hip so i try to slow him down at times that doesnt work. so i let him play because one of these days he wont be able to. he really loves the other two dogs in the house he will protect them at all cost.
