The London premiere of the most anticipated movie of the year, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, was as star-studded as a galaxy far, far away. But the celebrity who stole the hearts of fans and press surrounding the red carpet was Carrie Fisher’s French Bulldog, Gary.

Princess Leia’s pup met all manner of stars and Stormtroopers, posing for photos with his tongue hanging out and his mom never out of sight. He rubbed elbows and paws with Harrison Ford, J.J. Abrams, and the rest of the cast, and he even stayed around for the after party.

The highlight of the night, however, was when Gary appeared on stage with the cast, including the soccer-ball-like droid BB-8. But Gary didn’t take too kindly to sharing the spotlight with the little droid. He expressed his feelings with plenty of barks.

Hopefully the pup can cool down and bring this feud to a rest. Are you and your dog excited for the new Star Wars movie? Let us know in the comments below.
