Our Story:
Was looking through the photos of Chihuahuas in rescues and there was this adorable photo of a little brindle Chihuahua pup with Sammie emblazoned across the bottom of the photo. The ad said that “Sammie” had a grade 4 heart murmur and needed a forever home with someone who could love him in what little time he may have left. My husband and I went to meet him and fell in love. We renamed him Rudy and took him to the vet to see what could be done. This past December 31st, Rudy had heart surgery and the doctor says he expects him to live a long life. We love our little clown and so does anyone who meets him.
