Don't know if I can stand her
Dog I have, Reba, was a stray, and I have had her only for a few weeks. She looks like a flat-coat but has white toes on all four feet, and white stripe down her underside. And maybe some houind in her muzzle. Has hair so slick is like she's been waxed, doesn't seem to shed much except on front seat. Plays nicely with my cats.
She is natural good retriever, brings the object back to me. I won't play tug-of-war wit... (continued)

Flat Coat Chasing Kids..... Help!
I just adopted a lovely 3 year old FCR who seems to view toddlers just as she does birds! If she sees small children running from a distance, she goes wild, barking, lunging, etc. It's a little scary, in fact. I'm trying to distract her with treats which she does accept. Is there a safe way to introduce her to children?
