Coton Trouble
We have patiently been training our coton to go outside. We have had him for three months. He is now six months old. He just does not seem to get it. We take him out and we praise him when he eliminates. He hates to be outside. Unless the grass is the proper temperature and dryness, he will stay away from it. I am not sure he will ever choose the grass over the carpet. Does anyone else have this problem

Jealousy and aggressive behaviour
I have a male Coton, nearly 2 years old. He is jealous of the other dogs in our house and will growl at them or bite them if we give them attention, he growls at them when they go near his bed or toys. He has also attacked them just when someone comes to the house. We don't always see it coming to prevent it. Have you had this problem? What should we do?

Does your coton sing?
My little boy makes some of the strangest sounds I have ever heard. Sometimes, at night he will hear a dog barking in the distance and answer it what sounds like a cross between a long howl and OPERA. I imagine that it is from a history of calling to lemurs in Madagascar.
I wonder if all cotons do this?

seizure alert dog
I am looking for a Coton De Tulear for seizure alert training for my daughter who has Epilepsy. We have been researching breeds and have decided that a Coton would be the perfect dog for her. Health Problems
My cotton the tulear is one and a half years old and is having severe health problems. The vet doesn't know what she has... She keeps vomiting and has a fever. At first she even had a little bit of diarrhea. The tests show that everything is alright. Does anyone know what it can be? Has anyone's had a cotton with similar symptoms? Please help!

overweight coton
I have a coton de tulear who is less than a year old and weighs about 13 pounds. We feed him twice a day (Orijen dry dog food and a small piece of meat with every meal, along with small treats here and there)
I am concerned with his weight as it seems hes nearing the category of obese.
