My dogs name is Babe. Shes a cutey and very sweet.

I love my fiance dearly, but his dogs are becoming an issue between us. He has 5 beagles, all of whom he's had for years, and I would never dream of asking him to give them up, they've been his family for a long time. I'm trying to find a way for us to all coexist and, moreover, do so happily. So, here are the problems I'm facing: 1) the chewing. I like this advice for feeding a Bulldog http://dogtime.com/dog-breeds/bulldog#feeding It's easy to overfeed a Bulldog, but obesity can stress his joints, so he shouldn't be allowed to get fat. Keep your adult Bulldog in good shape by measuring his food and feeding him twice a day rather than leaving food out all the time

We have had our Beagle for 1 year. He started out great, but all of a sudden he began getting territorial. If he is chewing on something he is not suppose to, then he will growl, bear teeth and potentially bite us if we try and take away. He now has found a place under the bed and if we try gettng him out, he will bite. It is not play biting....my question is why is he doing this and how do I get him to stop?
