Don't blame the wife of Susie's previous owner. If he did this to a defenseless puppy, he probably abuses her on a regular basis too. thank you Donna for putting your fear aside and taking this poor animal in and showing her love and that not all humans are evil.

THE THING THAT DID THIS TO SUSIE SHOULD ONLY GO THROUGH WHAT YOU AND SUSIE DID BUT NO RECOVER.

I am extremely proud and happy for you and Susie and that you have bonded so well together. I also prey to God that the person(s) who did this dies a horrible, painful death immediately, preferably being burned and tortured to death.

I too have been severely hurt by a dog in the past, but by a German Shepherd not a Pit Bull, so I can totally relate. My Jack Russell Terrier, Bailey, soon put an end to my fear though,and now he can get right up in my face and I am not afraid. Your story made me smile so much, and Susie is a beautiful girl indeed. Some dogs' resilience amazes me - it's incredible really, after what some have been through. A really lovely story - thank you for sharing it.

You should post Susie's owner's name, address, etc. all over the internet. Hopefully a drunk animal lover will do to him and his family (the woman tasteless enough to procreate with the monster and the DNA he and she spawned off) what he did to the dog. It's truly sad that it took torturing Susie to get some real, but still way too lenient, laws in place.

That is a tramatic thing to overcome but I am so glad you had the power in you to see that it works as a 2 way street. Animals are a reflection on their owners. I had a friend killed by 3 pitbulls years ago but same senario, it was the way they were treated from the owner. They are great dogs and I wish people would open their minds up and realize that it is not the dog, it's the owner. Maybe there should be ba... (continued)

Liability Insurance
I need help finding liability insurance for my 5 month old Pit. My landlord of course is fearful of being sued if my dog injures someone. So far I have not had much luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It's either find insurance or give up the dog. I don't want to give up my dog. Help.
