Our take: There are lots of styles to choose from on this site. A smart choice is a slide-on tag that fits over the collar, since it won't fall off the way traditional dog tags can. Another benefit: The Good Samaritan who finds your dog roaming the streets doesn't have to reach under his chin to get to the tag, which some dogs are a bit timid about. The tags are sized for either three-quarter-inch or one-inch collars, and you can fit up to five lines of information on them.
