Puppy Brush

Puppy Brush (4 biscuits)

Our take: Created by a dental company that makes similar brushes for toddlers, this brush is shaped sort of like a teething ring with bristles on one end. I didn’t expect to like it, but I did. You can get a good grip on the handle and you never worry about accidentally poking your dog’s gums the way you can with a traditional long-handled brush (which they refer to as “over-insertion.”) I got the puppy version because I’ve got a little dog, but they have an adult size too.

The dogs weigh in: I expected Ginger to bolt underneath the kitchen table, but she didn’t seem to mind this one at all. In fact, I got some good brushing in and even had enough time to reapply toothpaste. As canine toothbrushing goes, this qualifies as success.
