Dog food recipe ingredients:

3/4 cup hot water
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup powdered milk
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
3 cups of flour (preferrably whole wheat)
2 tsp. sugar

Dog food recipe instructions:

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. In a mixing bowl, pour the hot water over the margarine. Then, stir in powdered milk, salt, and egg and sugar. Continue by adding flour, 1/2 cup at a time. Knead for a few minutes until a stiff dough is formed. Roll out the dough until it is 1/2 inch thick. Using a bone shaped cookie cutter, cut out bones. Bake for 50 minutes. Cool on a cookie rack. Once cooled they will be very hard.
