My groomer uses a soft e-collar when she grooms my difficult lhasa who nips at her. It looks like a foam core covered with fleece and fabric - firm but soft and comfy. Made very well. I was so impressed I got one to use when Rocky (my shih-tzu) had his eye removed. It worked awesome, and he could lay down, eat, and do everything comfortably. ive seen really good selection @ www.andrewsimports.com website. I bought 1 for my dog walter 8 years ago and i still have it..really good quality made in europe...not china...high quality with reasonable price under $30...you should check it out if you are looking for one
