Nike and Vick: just did it Discussions

I will never buy Nike again. The sick nature of that creep's crimes should have evicted him from the role of 'inspirational figure' for life. If he hadn't been caught, charged and penalized he'd still be out there comitting these atrocities. He’s paid his debt to society and therefore earned the right to walk free- but he should never be hailed as any kind of role model again. Nike re-signing him is making the statement that he’s a cool guy- but cool guys don’t electrocute dogs for kicks. People at my gym have taken to blacking out the Nike logo on their workout gear since this announcement- the logo is now a badge of supported cruelty. I hope this trend sweeps the nation.
