Folks, we celebrated too soon. Lucky, the dog who lived through 8 years of severe neglect — four of which were spent locked in a basement — was finally turned over to authorities by his owner.
Lucky’s advocates were hoping that officials would release the dog to a local rescue group where, in the comfort of a loving home, he could be shown the care and affection he has never known. Unfortunately, he remains imprisoned in a different sort of way — for now, terrified and confused in an isolated cell in a municipal animal control facility.
We can not afford to put this dog through one more minute of hell. Please sign the petition and help get Lucky to a better place.
