FROM THE SHELTER:

When his mother was stricken with Alzheimer’s and with no time to care for her larger dogs himself, the son of Maggie and Dusty’s owner called HART asking us to take them in. This truly bonded pair of dear girls, both age 9, will offer gentle kisses when treated kindly. Maggie is a Rottweiler mix with eye-catching coloring including a white chest, multi-colored face and spotted forelegs. Dusty is a deaf Dalmatian who is mostly white with some light brown spots sprinkled here and there. Her elbows show the effects of laying on hard surfaces for long periods of time. Dusty frequently looks to make sure Maggie is close, relying on her buddy for guidance or reassurance.
