FROM THE SHELTER:

Claire is a little angel. She is a beautiful American Staffordshire Terrier puppy who is 12 weeks old as of 10/21/09! She is a very sweet and friendly girl who is a dark black with reverse brindle. She is affectionate, intelligent, and eager to learn. 

Claire and her brother Yogi were lucky. They were locked in a closet in an abandoned house without any water, and it is a miracle that a Good Samaritan found them and rescued them before they died. Claire loves all dogs, cats, and children.

She will be spayed/vaccinated/microchipped/dewormed prior to adoption.

She is looking for an indoor forever home only. A completed adoption application, an adoption fee, home visit(s), references, and contract are REQUIRED for adoption. We will not adopt to a municipality where pit bulls are illegal.

Our normal adoption restrictions include the following: you must be at least 25 years old to adopt this animal, must have a securely fenced in yard, and must own your own home. We will consider making exceptions to these requirements on a case-by-case basis so please email us if you have any questions.
