Falcon is about 6 months old now. He is crate trained and mostly housetrained! He knows sit and walks on a leash very well. Falcon is full grown at 55lbs.

Falcon came to us in a very weak and sickly condition, due to malnutrition but after vet care and a lot of TLC he is doing great! He is ready for his forever home.

Falcon is a people pleaser. While he is the typical active puppy, he really pays attention. He is curious and also very sensitive. He loves affection, acting as if he has never had a kind and caring owner. Falcon is a resilient guy who is working hard to grow into a beautiful healthy dog. He would be a wonderful addition to any family.

When you visit Falcon at his foster family's home you might cat him sitting at the patio bar. He hops up in to one of the bar height chairs, so he can scan the neighborhood. He will sit there for hour -- It is so cute and funny -- Just like a real a 'falcon bird'!

A HERO!Our very own Falcon was called to help last week! On February 18, Falcon gave blood for an emergency transfusion. A local vet needed a donor dog immediately that was big enough, calm and healthy. He is recovering well at the animal hospital and the emergency patient has improved. FALCON IS A HERO!!!

An update, Falcon is back to his normal self. And best of all, he saved a life! The sick dog was not making platelets.So he was literally bleeding out! Falcons two pint donation was enough so that the recipient started clotting. That bought us enough time to get the critical animal to the University of Illinois, where he is doing well. It was later determined that the sick dog has an autoimmune disorder.

Falcon has been neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, dewormed and placed on heartworm and flea preventatives. There will be a $150 minimum adoption donation for this pet.
