Trained to what commands? Walking, fetch, sit, kind of does stay, drop it, come
Like Doggy Parks? Never been to dog park, but does well at the beach with other dogs off leash
Was this dog abused and how? Unknown. Was found as a stray last summer and he was severely underweight, tangled fur, filthy, and had cuts all over his face. He can be timid or tuck his tail if you sternly talk to him or correct him, which shows that he may have been abused. We have not had any issues with that and have been working with him on this.
Has this dog ever bitten anyone? No
Any dog aggression problems? No
Any anxiety separation problems? May bark a bit when we kennel him and leave the house, but settles easily and quickly.
Does this dog need a fenced in yard? He doesn't have one now, but he does leave the yard when tempted by other dogs or any distractions like strangers to great or cats to chase. A fenced yard would be better, but isn't needed.
Who would be the best kind of owner for this particular dog? Boomer is used to having someone around at all times of day. He likes to sleep in bed with us and loves attention. Someone who can give him this kind of time is his ideal owner.
