FROM THE SHELTER:

Adopted from a shelter in California several years ago, Bubbles and Burton moved to New Mexico with their family. Unfortunately they were not part of the long term family plan. Their owner got pregnant and decided that they would be a health issue for her new born child. We agree that Chihuahuas are not a wise choice for families with very young children, so we accepted these two little sweethearts to help them find a real forever home.

They are little love bugs with their foster mom; always looking for a hug and kisses. Burton is a real gentleman, but Bubbles can be a little pushy to be the only one in her lap. We would prefer to keep these two together as they enjoy each others company so much. Mutual grooming and keeping themselves entertained with toys and romps in the yard make them easy to care for.

They weigh about five pounds each. The previous owner cannot find the adoption papers so we are estimating their age to be about five years old. They are house trained during the day, but will use piddle pads if they are left for an extended period of time. What a perfect pair for an adult home!
