FROM THE SHELTER:

Butkis is an adorable pit bull puppy who is 4-5 months old. He was named by his new foster parents after Rocky's dog Butkis (from the Rocky movies). He was confiscated by animal control after someone stabbed him twice. He is recovering from those wounds and will have no lasting problems from them. He loves people more than anything and is affectionate, intelligent, and eager to learn. 

He is working on his crate-training and housebreaking and is very smart. He listens really well. He loveslovesloves people and being held by them.

He will be neutered/vaccinated/microchipped/dewormed prior to adoption. He loves the other dogs in his foster home and all people (adults and children).

He is looking for an indoor forever home only. A completed adoption application, a $150.00 adoption fee, home visit(s), references, and contract are REQUIRED for adoption. We will not adopt to a municipality where pit bulls are illegal.

Our normal adoption restrictions include the following: you must be at least 25 years old to adopt this animal, must have a securely fenced in yard, and must own your own home. We will consider making exceptions to these requirements on a case-by-case basis so please email us if you have any questions.
