FROM THE SHELTER:

Jack is a big, loveable lug of a dog who thinks he belongs in your lap! He came to NDDR from another local rescue group and is loving life in The Pack. Jack is a muscular 50-lb man who has an athletic build and all of the enrgy and brains of a herding dog. He loves chasing the tennis ball as well as chasing the other dogs who might get to it first! There is not a dog with more beautiful merle markings! Jack knows 'sit' and 'lie down' and he also poses for the camera. Jack gets along with a multitude of dogs of all sizes and breeds; he is mild-mannered and agreeable but he does not like the crate. He had to spend a bit too much time in one while being boarded and now knows the crate is not the life for him. It's ok though, because he is house-broken and will go to the back door to let you know he needs 'Outside, please!'
