FROM THE SHELTER:

Clark is about 3 1/2 years old and we believe him to be Boxer/Bird dog mix.   Clark is house trained and has never had a an accident in the house...which is great considering he had never been in a home situation before being fostered.  His manners in the home have come along real well. Clark knows basic commands such as sit, down, off, and lay down...working on stay :-)  He has one foster brother with him in the home; a boxer. They play very well together. Some times it takes a while for Clark to warm up to other dogs but then he is fine. He loves toys and to play fetch.

Clark loves to be part of the family and really loves all people.  He is basically a big lap dog...but...he will crowd you on the couch trying to get close to you!  Clark's foster Mom takes him to her son's ball practices and the kids all love him...and he loves the attention!   He walks well on a leash and hardly ever barks.  He will need a home with 6 foot fence because he can jump a 4 foot fence. 

Clark appears to have a little bit of separation anxiety but is getting better every day. As long as he gets exercise, attention, toys and play he should be OK. He is neutered, heart warm tested negative, up to date on shots, on flea & tick prevention and micro chipped.
