Updated Sept. 2009: Sissy is the best lil girl ever! She loves little kids and animals of all types. She is housetrained and crate trained. She loves to play ball and tug rope. Sissy has a small trachea, but vet says it is nothing to worry about... When its really cold outside or she gets overly excited she sounds like a goose, but it goes away after she warms up or calms down. It does not bother her at all. She cannot be walked with a regular collar, it puts too much pressure on her throat. She must be fitted with a secure harness so she cannot slip it. I am going to start her on a gentle leader to see how she does.
Can you give Sissy the best home possible?
Update: 9/23/2008: Sissy is such a wonderful dog. She is sooo good with kids of all ages. She currently lives with a 7 & 4 yr old and loves them! She is also great with other animals large or small.
Sissy is a very good watch dog and will let you know if someone is on your property. She is starting to calm down, but loves a good game of fetch or tug rope!
Sissy would be a great addition to a family with a fenced yard and lots of love.
She really is the purrrfect dog!!

Update 7/28/2008: Sissy is such a sweet girl! She is full of life and loves EVERYONE!! Sissy is the 'perfect' dog that everyone looks for. She is housetrained, great with kids and other dogs, and listens very well. Sissy is young and has A LOT of energy. She needs a family that can keep up with her and her tennis ball!!

Update 1/1/08: Sissy will be returning to LPR soon... She had 5 healthy happy puppies and was adopted, and the adopters decided she was too much dog. So she is up for adoption again. Please check back as we will update as soon as she is back with us.

Original posting: We pulled Sissy from the shelter on 10/29/07 and found out she is very pregnant. She is due in less than 1 week with approx 5-6 puppies.
Sissy is VERY sweet and loves everyone. She is 2 yrs old, Brindle, and not sure exactly what she is mixed with, maybe Chi/Peke or Chi/Bulldog. She is soo cute and has a very prominent underbite that gives her such a cute look.
Sissy will be spayed and up to date on everything after the pups are born. She will be available for adoption after the pups are weaned and ready for adoption.
We have a fund set-up to help with the delivery expenses. As you know if there is any complication she must have a c-section which can cost a lot of money. We want to be prepared due to her size and not knowing what breed of dog she was bred with.
