FROM THE SHELTER:

Tyler is an older Terrier - we are only guessing the Australian variety. What a sweet, sweet dog. Great with people and other pets. He also has a downy soft coat that is beautiful in color.

Tyler was neutered and had a dental on the 30th of December. He also had a small tumor removed. Tyler is current on all his vaccinations and has tested negative for heartworm.

Tyler weighs about 12 pounds and it would appear that he is house trained. He mastered the doggie door in just a couple hours, so he may well have been familiar with one.

This guy is just a wonderful little dog. He is not overly fond of the new, big dog in rescue, but he is making adjustments nicely. He will chase and bark at the cats, but not always. Just when they make an unexpected noise. He is not clingy and does nicely with just being petted. He rarely asks to be picked up and held .... but loves to sit with you on the couch. He has some arthritis in his elbows, but it doesn't slow him down much.

K9HAVEN Rescue, Inc. will require an application to be filled out before consideration for adoption. Personal and vet references, a home visit and fenced yard are also necessary. There will be an adoption fee to help defray vetting expenses.
