Hugo is looking for the best home a dog could ask for, and he will not settle for less. In return, he will be your new best friend.

He wants a family who will enjoy lots of cuddle time on the couch or bed, and take him for long walks which he loves so much. He also loves to play in the yard while you are with him, and enjoys games of tug, or chewing on a bone. His favorite thing really is spending time with people and is hoping to find someone looking for a companion and lots of time to spend together.

He is such an amazing guy! Hugo is potty trained, but please to not expect him to spend a whole lot of time out in the yard for much else - unless you are accompanying him! We suspect he spent the better part of his life up until recently outdoors. He seeks out cozy doggy beds now, or couches and people beds will do even better.

As is typical of dogs who have been ignored outside, Hugo gets VERY excited in new environments. He tends to get a bit overstimulated, but not to worry - this only lasts a few minutes and then he is back to his charming self. Indoors, he is a gentleman, but again, please keep in mind he thinks stuffed toys, and blankets are for de-stuffing. He respects furniture, and wouldn't think of tearing up a precious doggy bed.

So far, Hugo has shown to be good with children and dogs, but no cats!
