Cody is a 13-year-old sweetie who was relinquished by his owners who did not want him anymore even though they had had him since he was a puppy (apparently, he is not the first dog that they had since puppyhood and then given away...). He had to live outside during the past few years, even in the winter, and his owner got annoyed because every time she went outside, Cody would whine at her (you think maybe he was lonely?)

Cody needs to be bathed with a skin conditioning shampoo. He looks to have irritated skin from the dirt he lived in, his pen was always filled with feces.

His owner said Cody was stung by several bees about 2 years ago and he ended up with a bit of nerve damage to the right side of his face. His face is slightly drawn up. You can see that in his pictures. He is big and beefy for his age, not overweight but he has good muscle tone. He gets along well with other dogs.

Cody is healthy and frisky, you would never guess his age. Let us know if you want to meet this sweet boy. He is so deserving of a family that will include him and give him the love and attention he has missed out on.
