Pippi is a very sweet dachshund/chihuahua mix that is pregnant. She's around 2 years old and currently weighs 16.5 pounds. Pippi will probably weigh 15 pounds or less after she is done being a mommy. She has a winning personality and loves to be petted and to sit on your lap. She gets along well with dogs and simply loves cats. She's very submissive and loving. Miss Pippi knows how to sit, come and is potty-trained. Right now she's a little sad because she doesn't understand why her owner would drop her off at a high-kill shelter drop box while she was pregnant. Her foster mom explained it wasn't her fault and that she's a great little doggie who would be a joy for any family to have. please submit an application!

Pippi is currently expecting puppies. We're accepting applications now for her, but she will not be ready until her pups are born and weaned, so please expect at least a two month wait.
