Ginger is an absolutely gorgeous ginger colored American Pit Bull Terrier. She is up to date on vaccines and hearworm prevention. Ginger is already altered, is housebroken and literally loves attention. She was surrendered to Girard Lifesaver Rescue because her previous owners, whom she simply adored were reported to Animal Control for having over a three dog limit in their household. She was to be taken to the animal control shelter where she would have most likely been euthanized. Ginger has been at the shelter for three months and so wants a home and another chance to have a home where she will feel secure in and will never have to leave again. She is simply a marvelous little Pittie Girl. She loves to sleep with you and have her tummy rubbed. She has a wonderful temperment and shows no agression whatsoever. She loves for you to run and play with her and to chase and retreive balls and toys. She was used to the good life before she had to leave her home where she was spoiled rotten. She is so sad now and you can see the longing for a family of her own and much more attention than we are able to give with having to care for all of the other rescues. Due to the nature of Pit Bulls to be same sex agressive, Ginger will not be placed in a home with other female dogs. She will make a wonderful and loyal friend and companion for that special guardian angel who can and will offer her a home. She does not deserve to spend her life in a shelter longing for the attention and love she once knew.
