Zoe is a very, very sweet girl that was recently taken into a foster home with Save the Pets. We hope she will be able to get a little bit more attention now - and hopefully find a forever home soon. Zoe is much more than just a 'little black dog' (please note that black pets unfortunately have the lowest adoption rates)! She has been to adoption events and is well-loved by the volunteers.

Zoe is a young adult, mixed breed. She looks to be part Boston Terrier, Boxer, or AmStaff. She has plenty of energy and is playful. When she is taken out of her kennel she is ecstatic, excited, and energetic! But, after the initial excitement, she calms down and is a total cuddle-bug! She loves to sit on laps, be hugged, and snuggle with you. When you pet her she looks like she will fall asleep.

Zoe already knows 'sit' and 'lay down', and she's definitely responsive especially with treat rewards. She does best on a front clip harness (as she will pull on a slipknot leash). Zoe gets along well with other dogs, and is very interested in playing with them. She tends to be the more submissive dog as well, and we believe she'd be happy with another doggie pal in her home. She does well with cats, too. Zoe loves people and is just a doll. Though she does well with adults, her initial high energy and excitement may mean she would do well in a home without very small children.
