**Tilly's ready for a new home**This is Tilly. Tilly sat in a local shelter for five days with an unmistakably broken femur and no medical attention. Even though the pain she was in must have been unbearable, Tilly was so excited every time the volunteers came in to take photos she jumped up and down and gave them kisses on their hands. Because of her spirit we couldn't leave her to be euthanized. Tilly is now in foster care after having surgery to amputate her badly injured leg. It appears Tilly's injury may have been caused by an abusive person because she has no other injuries that would have resulted if she was struck by a car or she was struck so long ago and never taken to the vet that her other injuries have healed. Having three legs doesn't slow Tilly down though and she still loves to play and cuddle. Tilly gets along great with other dogs and even cats. She has a cute curly tail and underbite. So far Tilly is working on housetraining and loves to snuggle into her crate at night. Tilly is all healed now and ready for her new family.
