Update: 12-1-08: Bernie aka Buddy, is doing great after his surgery. He is a very sweet, loving, and playful little guy. Now he is ready to go to his new forever home! Give Bernie a chance to be the wonderful family pet he deserves to be! He would love nothing more than to be in his new forever home for the holiday!

Update - 11-24-08: Buddy is doing very well. He is still recovering from the surgery, but he should be able to walk on all four legs in about a week. He is a very happy beagle. Again, he thanks all of his heroes for making this surgery possible!

Update: Now named Bernie (aka Buddy) had his surgery on 11-18-08 and is doing well. He is currently in a foster home while he recovers. He sends much love and kisses to his heroes that made his surgery possible for him to live a normal, painfree life! Continue to watch for updates.

Buddy the beagle was found on the side of Hwy 7 last Saturday
night (11-1-08). He had been struck by a car and his hip was out of socket. The vetenarian tried to reset and splint it, but this did not work. He needs FHO (femoral head osteoectomy)
surgey in order to have a normal life. The cost of the surgery will be between $300-$500. Now, Buddy needs your help! He is a darling little guy that deserves a chance for a good life. He will be up for adoption after he has healed from his surgery. Will you be Buddy's hero and help his have his hip repaired where he can walk on it again? Buddy will love you for life!
