** FOSTERED IN PA**My name is Mercer. I am a four month old male Catahoula mix puppy. I was rescued from a high kill shelter in the south. I came all the way to Pennsylvania for a second chance. My foster mommy thinks I am absolutely adorable. Don't you agree? I was in the shelter for awhile so I am still getting used to the quiet. I can be vocal at times. I love to cuddle and kiss my foster mommy. I absolutely love to be loved. I am currently working on crate and potty training. My foster mommy thinks I am doing well. I am seeking a wonderful family who will welcome me into their home and love me forever. I am still getting my puppy vaccinations as I get old enough, I am healthy, and we are working on crate training and house training. But I love to snuggle most of all with my Mommy. Catahoula Rescue Inc is an all volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered if old enough. They have been wormed and tested for heartworms if over 4 months of age when rescued. All dogs are on heartworm preventative. We require a minimum $150 adoption fee to help offset these costs.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the online adoption application available at our main website www.catahoularescue.com From the homepage, follow the link 'How to Adopt'. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the fosterparent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family. If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue.
