DOB 2005

Peanut is a pure bred dachshund - and was surrendered by his owner who didn't take very good care of him.

Peanut is currently in foster care. At his foster home, he has taken to patrolling the house against possible human and squirrel intruders. Peanut likes to retire to his kennel when he wants a nap and sleeps with his foster mom either on the bed or under the covers. He can be shy around new people but as he is around more folks on a regular basis, he is getting more comfortable. He enjoys walks and snuggling with his people.
