Hi I'm Egypt! I may just be the most affectionate dog you've ever met. I love attention and can't get enough kisses and hugs. Right now my foster mummy lets me sleep with her and we sometimes spoon each other at night (but I'm also pretty happy sleeping in my own bed if I'm told). I'm a really good listener and know how to sit and am pretty good at coming when I'm called. I just want to make my person happy. Unfortunately my first owner never taught me how to go to the bathroom outside and I only know how to go on a paper or puppy pad. The vet thinks I'm 4 or 5 years old, so it's going to be a challenge to teach me. I was found tied up at the edge of the forest in Inwood, and I'd just weened puppies. They think that maybe I was living in a puppy mill but it's hard to say for sure. I don't have a mean bone in my whole body though. I love people, and I love other animals too! Right now I have 2 foster brothers, a dog and a cat, and have played with lots of dogs and cats since I've been rescued. I'm very gentle with kitties and friendly with dogs, and love playing with my foster brothers (and my foster mummy too). I get a little anxious from loud noises when I go for my walks, especially buses and trains, so I'd do better in a quieter neighborhood. I also get a little bit of separation anxiety so you have to be sure not to leave anything special around because I may chew on it when you're gone. But I don't bark or cry while you're out so no need to worry about bothering the neighbors. I hardly ever bark at all actually! I wish my foster mummy could keep me forever because we have so much fun together, but I bet I could have lots of fun with you too!
