UPDATE: ON 11/12, BUCKEYE HAD 6 BEAUTIFUL PUREBRED PUPPIES. MOM AND PUPS ARE DOING GREAT!!!!

Buckeye is a gorgeous female American Staffordshire Terrier who is 2 years old. She is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever seen and is extremely obedient and loving. UPDATE: We first thought she was deaf but SHE IS NOT!! She knows quite a few commands and is learning more each day.

Buckeye loves to cuddle with people and her favorite place is by your side! She is great with kids and cats, but she needs to be your only dog.

Buckeye came to us pregnant and will be spayed after she delivers the pups and weans them. She will also receive all vaccines and will be dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested. She will be available for adoption after she is spayed, but we are accepting application on her now.

Buckeye is looking for an indoor forever home only. A completed adoption application, adoption fee, home visit(s), references, and contract are REQUIRED for adoption. We will not adopt to a municipality where pit bulls are illegal.

There is an adoption fee for Buckeye to partially reimburse her rescuer for the veterinary expenses associated with rescuing her.

Our normal adoption restrictions include the following: you must be at least 25 years old to adopt this animal, must have a securely fenced in yard, and must own your own home. We will consider making exceptions to these requirements on a case-by-case basis so please email us if you have any questions.
