How is Pogie with...

Other Dogs: Wonderful! He loves to play and chase and roll around with other big dogs. He loves to talk to them and he's very vocal when playing.
Cats: He is very curious. He wants to smell them and figure out what they are all about. He will chase them if they run away from him, but shows no aggression, just curiosity. He loves to eat cat food, though!
Children: Has had minimal interaction, but does great with older children.

House-training Status: House-trained.
Crate-training Status: Working on that. He cries a bit and doesn't want to stay in there. Over time he will adjust.
Leash-training Status: Very nice.

General Personality and Energy Level: Pogie's personality is sweet, playful and very loving. He loves to play hard and run, but also loves to snuggle. He curls up right next to me while watching TV and sleeps against me at night. Pogie likes to lay with my other dogs, but he also enjoys being spoiled one on one. He would do well with other pets or as an only dog. He loves to relax with a chew toy or bone and can sleep undisturbed all through the night. He is also a great watch dog. He only barks with a purpose, while playing or to alert you to visitors. He will let you know when someone is at the door or in the driveway! Pogie listens very well and can sit, stay and come on command. He is a wonderful pet.

History: I have had Pogie for a week and he has adjusted perfectly to my home and my other animals. He came from CharMeck Animal Shelter. He was adopted out of the shelter in June but then returned to the shelter at the beginning of October. His previous owners had to relocate and were unable to take the Pogie with them. He is an extremely healthy dog with no behavior or health problems.

Other Comments: Pogie is a medium-sized dog with a beautiful brindle coat. He has four little white/grey paws and a white/grey chest. He is an amazing animal that would be a wonderful addition to any pet friendly home.
