Max Rob is a wonderful 10-year-old Schnauzer that was given up due to the declining health of his owner. He has beautiful Schnauzer eyes that look like melted chocolate syrup ... and he's just as sweet! Although Max Rob's owner loved him, she did not give him the vet care or proper nutrition that dogs need, so poor Max Rob is obese (a very dangerous situation for Schnauzers because it can lead to diabetes, heart disease, and pancreatitis), and his teeth are in horrible condition. Luckily, Max Rob will be well taken care of by our friends at Harlingen Vet Clinic, and then fostered by Steve and Maria, two of our most experienced caregivers. We're confident that Max will be feeling like a pup in no time. Check back for photos and updates.
